Job Title: Legal Advisor
Reports to: General Counsel-Uganda

Job Purpose:
To provide high quality legal and operational policy advice on a range of complex legal issues arising across the operations of Tullow in Uganda

Main Accountabilities:
  • To create awareness across Tullow Uganda of governance, legal and reguratory compliance requirements.
  • To provide legal advice and support across the operations of Tullow Uganda, including research and interpretation of legislation to support business objectives.
  • To assist general counsel with the management of legal and compliance aspects of a joint venture
  • To assist general counsel with management of legal and compliance requirements of the production sharing agreements
Qualifications
  • A bachelors of Laws degree fro a reputable university
  • Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre
Experience
  • 5 Years relevant work experience gained in dynamic environment either in-house or private practice
  • 3 years experience dealing with government- related transactiopns

Qualifications:
  • A professional in Allied Health with diploma in clinical medicine and community Health.
  • An Honors Degree in Clinical Medicine or Education or Medical Education
  • Experience in managing allied health National Examinations at Institutional level
  • Experience in setting, moderating and marking written and practical examinations
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in conducting internal Examinations at institutional level, three of which at managerial level

Duties and responsibilities:
  • To participate in setting, invigilation, marking and compilation of examination reports.

Job Title: Trainee Printer

Reports to: Printing Supervisor

Description of Purpose:
To ensure printing jobs are carried out as instructed and as per the given schedule to make sure jobs are done in good quality and delivered on time.

Key Result Areas:
  • Engage and disengage quarter fold on the folder in order to print a job on a quarter foldrs
  • Set ink rollers in order to balance the flow of ink on paper.
  • Assist in changing worn out blankets in order to improve the quality of the print on the paper
  • Registration of colors in order to achieve a perfect image printout.
  • Webbing of different towers of the machine in order to start printing
  • Fill up the fountain solution in the drum of the auto mixer in order to ensure a quality and clean print job
  • Fill the machine ducts of different towers with ink in order to enable ink pass on the paper.
  • To set ink values in order to achieve the right ink composition
Qualifications and Experience
  • An ordinary Diploma in Mechanical & Production Engineering
  • A certificate in Printing Technology
  • Ability to interpret, analyze and report on technical processes
  • Able to work under minimal supervision and willing to work long hours and night shifts
  • Must be able to bend and mount plates precisely
  • Knowledge of print finishing and ability to visualize the finished product
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with deadlines
