The Head of Office is part of the Operations Department and provides

support and leadership to all Field Office Human Resources, Administrative, and Logistical activities and is overall responsible for the provision of quality operations support to Mercy Corps’ programs in Kitgum. Reporting is required from the field on a constant and routine basis to ensure standardized policy for all field offices, compliance with donor requirements (and Mercy Corps policies), and any necessary support needs. Field Offices are expected to comply with all Procurement, Warehouse, Asset, Fleet, and Administrative (HR, Office Mgt, Facilities Mgt, Security, and IT) policies and procedures set forth.

· Proven success as a trainer and capacity builder of staff within the NGO context.

· Experience working in conflict environments.

· Four years experience working in international relief and development in logistics and administration, staff supervision and development, training, team building, finance & administration, donor relations, and inter/intra – agency communications. This includes experience living and working overseas and working in remote conditions.

· Excellent computer and communication skills

· Experience managing the development, implementation, administration, and compliance of US Government, ECHO/EC, UN, private foundation, and corporate grants, and related projects.

Experience in managing the logistics components of a food distribution program desirable.

Job Title: Monitoring, Evaluation, & Information Management Coordinator

The Monitoring, Evaluation, & Information Management Coordinator oversees the development of the M&E systems to (1) strengthen the monitoring and evaluation efforts of Mercy Corps, and (2) manage the information and ensure quality programming that can be accurately demonstrated through measurable impact.

· Masters Degree in social sciences, economics, and/or business administration is preferred with at least 6 years experience in the Monitoring, Evaluation of development programs.

· Experience with Value Chain Analysis and knowledge in Agriculture and Economic.

· Practical and theoretical knowledge in program monitoring and data collection methods, including interview techniques, quantitative skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, and Word).

· Strong at data process with different statistical packages under multi disciplinary programs ranging from peace building to food security. SPSS and/or STATA, EPI Info and ENA are a MUST.

Job Title: Logistics Field Officer (Level 4)

Under the guidance and supervision of the Head of Office, the Logistics

Officer is responsible for the overall Logistics Management of the Kitgum Office. In charge of the Kitgum Logistics department, the Logistics Officer will make sure that all programs in the field are fully supported timely and accurately in all type of logistics needs. The Logistics Officer is the key person for all the Kitgum Logistics arrangements, coordination and also serves as Local Security Focal Point. In addition this position will be required to perform other program support logistical duties, such as arranging flights, transportation, lodging,etc All applicants should have;

Peace Building Manager Job - Mercy Corps

Job Title: Peace building Manager (Level 6) based in Kaabong, Uganda

The Project Manager will provide managerial support and programmatic direction while working effectively within a team setting to ensure program objectives are met.
