Job Title: PRINCIPAL ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

The position reports to the Deputy Executive Secretary and is part of the top management of the UNMEB Secretariat. The incumbent shall supervise all administrative cadre staff

Qualifications:
The right candidate shall be familiar with management issues and be qualified with an honors degree in any of the fallowing fields; Social Sciences, Public Administration, Human Resource Management or other relevant fields.
A post graduate Diploma in the relevant field or a Masters Degree in a related subject will be an added advantage. The candidate must have served at a senior management level in a Government Department or equivalent Non-Government institution for a minimum of at least five years.

Duties and responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the position are to;

Duties of Post and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the position shall be to:
• design and maintain a good records management system
• retrieve, classify and forward files, correspondences and documents to the right action Officer;
• carry out indexing of files for easy identification;
• dispatch files for the action officers;
• monitor UNMEB's file movement and carry out assessment of files for weeding out;
• draw up file index for ease or records management;
• supervise regular file census and maintain an up to-date inventory of existing files; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned to you by the Supervisor.

Job Title: EXAMINATIONS OFFICER

The position reports to the Senior Examinations Officer,

Qualifications:
The right candidate shall be a professional in the Nursing or Midwifery profession or a related field or both and shall be qualified with at least a diploma in Nursing or Midwifery or medical Education with an honours Degree in a development related field such as Social Sciences or Development Studies or a natural science field.
In addition, the candidate shall have at least two years experience in conducting internal examinations at institutional level and be knowledgeable in setting, moderating and marking written and practical examinations (OSPE/OSCE).

Duties and responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the post shall be to:
• participate in the setting and conduct of examinations
• process examination cards, compile the candidates examination numbers and prepare other examination materials as need arises;
• prepare examination booklets and make them ready for dispatch to the examining centers;
• prepare and dispatch examination invitation letters to all examination officers; and
• Perform any other duty or responsibility as assigned by supervisor.

Job Title: SENIOR EXAMINATIONS

The position reports to the Principal Examinations Officer

Qualifications:
The suitable candidate for the position shall be a nursing professional with an Honours Degree in Education or Medical Education. The candidate shall in addition possess a minimum experience of at least five years in managing national examinations at institutional level. He/She should have experience in setting, moderating and marking practical examinations. A minimum of five years in a management position is desirable for the position.

Duties and responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the position are to:
* participate in the setting and conduct of examinations
* coordinate development and implementation of UNMEB research agenda;
* plan, conduct and build UNMEB's capacity for research, monitoring and evaluation;
* provide feedback to the nurses and midwifery accredited examination institutions;
* coordinate development of an information management
system for examination management, administration and awards;
* participate in establishment of a nurses and midwifery examinations data bank;
* develop tools for monitoring and evaluation of UNMEB's agenda;
* propose rules and regulations for the conduct of examinations for approval of superiors;
* coordinate the publishing of past nurses and midwifery examination papers; and
* perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Duties and responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the position are to;
• coordinate the setting, conduct, and compilation of results of examination for Nurses and midwives
• coordinate the processes of award and release of results;
• communicate examination processes and results to stakeholders;
• set up and maintain a nurses and midwifery examinations question data bank;
• ensure past nurses and midwifery examination papers are published; and
