Competences:

Duties:

● Maintains a regular interaction with stake holder Ministries, Departments and Agencies for updates on new Programmes and Initiatives among the respective stake holders.

● Analyses and integrates sector standards into the PRDP Planning and Service Delivery Processes.

● Develops and maintains the PRDP and KIDDP websites through regular posting of information and ensures that the websites are in operation.

● Designs data gathering and information dissemination tools.

● Coordinates data collection activities of PRDP at National level.

● Designs customised information products for target users;

● Any other related duties assigned from time to time.

Geo- Information Officer Job- Office of the Prime Minister

● Masters in Geo- Information Systems is a requirement.

Competences:

● Ability to develop statistical information by integrating physical and social indicators to support policy analysis and implementation.

● Collects, Processes and synthesizes the geographically referenced data to guide PRDP and Recovery Interventions.

● Collects data from Line Ministries, Development partners, International Agencies and Non–Governmental Organisations involved in PRDP Districts.

● Conducts User Needs Assessment of data requirements by all stake holders.

● Develops customised Geographical Information Systems training manuals for PRDP and Recovery Interventions.

● Integrates the Centre’s out put into Planning and Decision making.

● Any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Senior Gender Advisor Vacancy at Care, Uganda and Nairobi

CARE USA is currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Gender Program Advisor. The Senior Program Gender Advisor is responsible for technical and programmatic support to CARE staff and program partners in Africa, enhancing capacities to plan, implement and evaluate gender transformative programs across sectors.

This position is responsible for staff training and mentoring, technical support, assistance with documentation evaluation of gender components, and enhancing organizational learning and progressive quality improvement in gender planning, implementation strategies, and measurement. This position is also responsible for program and resource development, external representation at international meetings and conferences, and contributions to policy advocacy on gender issues. The position is based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Requirements include:
7 – 10 years of experience in international development, with experience in gender training, research, and/or program implementation, and fluency in both French and English.
