ROLE: Carry out accounting tasks as assigned: Process accounting transactions
(payments processing and/or transaction posting), prepare periodic
revenue and/or expenditure reports, , prepare reconciliation statements
for revenue and/or expenditure bank accounts and control accounts,
according to International Public Sector Accounting Standards, Public
Finance and Accountability Act and Regulations and URA Accounting
policies and guidelines.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Essential:
a) An Honors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or
related field.
b) Minimum of a Credit in Math and English
c) Computer skills including the ability to use computerized accounting packages,
spread sheet and word processing programs at a highly proficient level
Desirable:
a) A relevant Post Graduate qualification in Accounting or Finance is an added
advantage
b) Part/ full Professional qualifications and membership to professional associations like
ACCA and CPA will be an added advantage.
Experience and Knowledge:
At least One (1) year experience in accounting.

Character & Abilities:
a) Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly staff relations, oral and written
communications
b) High-level of integrity and confidentiality
