PLAN Uganda in partnership with Network for Water and Sanitation (NETWAS) Uganda received a grant from the European Union to implement a 3 year WASH project in the districts of Kamuli, Luwero, Lira and Tororo, and 16 sub counties.

NETWAS Uganda is a National non-profit making organization that was registered in 1996 in Uganda, to provide services in the Water supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector. NETWAS Uganda therefore requests for applications from qualified individuals to fill the following vacant positions:
POSTION3: DRIVER
Reporting to: Finance and Administration Manager
The Driver is an administrative position in NETWAS. The driver provides administrative input into the organisation using his/her knowledge in the transport industry.

Duties and responsibilities:
NETWAS driver is required to:
• Posses a valid driver's permit at all times.
• Carry out routine checks and weekly reports on the vehicles,
• Monitor and ensure that the vehicles are serviced and repaired on time.


Job requirement

Job requirements:
• Must possess a minimum of O'level certificate of Education,
• A valid driving licence with at least classes B, C and D,
• A minimum of three years driving experience with a reputable organisation, with basic mechanical and vehicle maintenance skills,
• Must be self motivated, honest, forward thinking, result oriented wild excellent communication skills, Fluency in English is essential.
