Job Title: Research Manager

Duties:

A.Develop the assessment component of Uwezo

B. Advising managers on issues relating to the Uwezo assessment

C. Recruitment of the core assessment team

D. Conduct researcher and partner orientation, development, and training

E. Conduct performance management of the Uwezo assessment and improvement systems

F. Ensure compliance to Uwezo standards by all researchers and partners

G. Ensure the documentation of all assessment related work


Job requirement

A.Masters Degree or equivalent in any arts or social science field

B.Broad knowledge and experience in education research and policy in Uganda

C.Above average skills in coordinating or working on large scale research studies

D.Excellent skills in participatory approaches to training and research
