Livelihoods Coordinator Job Vacancy in Uganda at CARE international

Job Title: Livelihoods Coordinator (based in Kampala)
Reports to: Project Manager-SCORE

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in the development of the socio-economic and livelihoods strengthening programming document for SCORE implementation
• Translate needs assessment findings in the areas of economic livelihoods into specific households development plans that feed into the overall project approaches
• Participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual implementation plans to ensure inclusion of socio-economic and livelihoods activities
• Coordinate with the project manager, Child Protection and Legal support and the food Security coordinators to ensure the other two thematic interventions adhere to the agreed CARE VC households socio-economic and livelihoods strengthening agreed approaches
• Participate in the identification, selection and establishment of socio-economic strengthening support networks/ linkages among SCORE targeted communities.

Person Specifications/ Qualifications
• Masters Degree in Business Administration, Rural Economics, social Science or related field
• At least 5 years’ experience, minimum three years experience in community/ rural microfinance programming and products
• Familiarity with current issues in vulnerable households livelihoods strengthening will be added advantage.
