Our client Wipro is an IT Company and is seeking to recruit result driven and motivated individuals for the Vacancy above;

Duties and Responsibilities:

    * Strong knowledge on install, configure and manage Microsoft Windows OS, Vmware and Citrix
    * Strong knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory Services & Clustering Services
    * Group Policy management
    * Strong Knowledge on server management tools H/W troubleshooting , Firmware & BIOS upgrade
    * Strong Knowledge of Troubleshooting skills on Windows server (Blue Screen Errors, performance issues, permissions issues)
    * Patch management and antivirus administration
    * Troubleshooting the incidents & problems reported on the servers
    * Provide the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems
    * Generating regular reports
    * Contribute to internal knowledge management system
    * Should posses Team leadership skills
    * Should be able to handle escalation calls
    * Knowledge on Remote system administration
    * Understanding of capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning.
    * Hand-on knowledge on various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.)
    * Ready to work in 24x7
    * Vendor Management.

 Qualifications:

    * Extensive hands on knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 Servers,
    * Working knowledge of VMware host and Guest OS management skills
    * Working knowledge on any of monitoring tools like Tivoli suite, NETIQ, Sitescope.
    * Should have knowledge on the applications like SMS, Symantec Netbackup
    * Good Knowledge on Cluster environment
    * Troubleshooting Windows AD
    * Advanced troubleshooting skills in OS related issues
    * Administration of DNS, WINS, DHCP Servers.
    * Patch management, Virus Management, Firmware & BIOS upgrade
    * Working Knowledge of File and Print servers
    * Log monitoring/maintenance
    * Understanding of capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning.
    * Hand-on knowledge on various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.)
    * Should have knowledge on Backup operation.
    * Knowledge on Active Directory would be desirable
    * Good Communication skills
    * H/W troubleshooting & Vendor coordination
    * Should be able to install, configure and manage the VMware & Citrix infrastructure
    * Advanced troubleshooting skills in OS related issues
    * Application publishing & Decommissioning from Citrix farm
    * Citrix Presentation server, Citrix Secure gateway,  Resource Manager, Installation Manager
    * Basic knowledge on system administration of Unix and storage

Certifications:

   1. MCSA/MSCE 2000 / 2003/ 2008 certified
   2. VCP Certified
   3. Citrix Certified

Key skills required:

   1. Windows NT/2000/2003/2008 Servers administration
   2. Active Directory Administration
   3. Advanced OS troubleshooting skills
   4. Escalation & Problem management
   5. Server builds using images
   6. Remote system administration
   7. VMware & Citrix administration
   8. Working Knowledge on server management tools
