JOB TITLE: Head Marketing and Product Development Department
RANK: General Manager/Deputy General Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Formulate, implement and monitor Departmental plans and strategies.
• Direct the development, design and review of winning solutions/products, so as to ensure competitiveness and continuous value to the customer.
• Direct, coordinate and conduct market research and customer satisfactions surveys to provide market information and enable good product positioning.
• Carry out detailed, in depth analysis of primary and secondary data for 3 marketing and product development and further decision making by
• Identify and segment the target market of the Bank and ensure that appropriate products and services are developed for each of these segments.
• Direct and manage the Bank's internal and external communications and promotion strategies, including advertising and1 publicity activities.
• Coordinate marketing and customer awareness seminars among staff to enable them appreciate the importance of customer service.
• Implement the delivery of sales strategies and targets.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with new and existing customers.
• Liaise with Branch managers and sales staff to realize cross-selling opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• A good degree in any of the following fields: Commerce, Mass Communication, Business Administration or related field.
• Masters Degree in a business field from a reputable Institution is a prerequisite OR a professional qualification in Marketing (CIM).

EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 6 years experience in a Business environment with at least 4 years at Senior Management level in the banking Industry and 2 years as
• Minimum of 6 years experience in a Business environment with at least 4 years at Senior Management level in the banking industry and 2 years as Head of Department.
• Experience in sales management, strategy formulation and implementation
.

SPECIAL SKILLS;
• Excellent networking, negotiating, leadership, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to creatively analyze the market and customer demands, and make well thought out business decisions.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
AGE: Not above 40 years.
