Executive Director Job at ACLAIM Africa

The client is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Christian to fill the post of Executive Director.


Key tasks and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Board of directors in Uganda and Geneva, the successful candidate will carry out the following tasks:
• Develop strategic business plans and enable the company realize its goals and objectives
• Provide financial, human resource and administrative oversight to the organization
• Effect a loan recovery mechanism to ensure maximum compliance
• Ensure legal connections with the company's global family
• Develop and maintain effective policies and procedures on operations, human resources and financial management
• Appraise projects/programs submitted for funding considerations
• Coordinate needs assessment and training for partners in order to build capacity

Minimum Professional Qualifications and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in relevant field with post graduate training. An MBA is an added advantage. At least five years experience in similar organization, preferably a microfinance or Christian based institution.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Good analytical and negotiation skills
• High degree of integrity
• A team player
• Computer literacy
• Age: between 35-45 years
