Job Title: Enrolled Midwife(3 Posts)

Age limit 23 years and above

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have Enrolled Midwife Certificate or Equivalent from a recognized Institution
  • Must be registered with the Nurses and Midwives Council
Duties:
  • Receiving patients, registering admissions, discharges and deaths
  • Carrying out antenatal care with emphasis on identifying high risk cases and refer them to hospitals
  • Providing care during labor with emphasis on keeping proper records
  • Use of drugs and prevention of complications to mother and baby
  • Providing care during puerperium with emphasis on prevention of the infection and ensure successiful breastfeeding
  • Participating in the doctors/Clinical officers ward rounds
  • Carrying out observations, keep records and ensure their safe custody
  • Preparing patients for meals and participating in serving them
  • Managing and accounting for allocated resources

Minimum Qualifications:
  • An Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Economics/ Statistics or its equivalent from a recognized institution or University ;
  • Post graduate training in planning, management or monitoring and evaluation of projects, financial management, economics or statistics;
  • should have at least 5 years working experience as a planner, two of which should have been at senior management level;
  • Should have well developed interpersonal relationship, communication and negotiation skills;
  • should be capable of working with high profile officials.
Duties
  • Providing Technical Support to the preparation and production of District development plans
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of District Development plans programs and projects
  • managing the upkeep of an up to date District Development management information system
  • Coordinating activities and programs of external development assistance by local and international bodies and institutions
  • Coordinating the appraisal of work plans and budgets with potential sources of funding.

Internal Auditor Job in Uganda at A Christian Organization

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide input the preparation of the annual audit work plan. Hold consultation meetings with the auditees, management, and the leadership to ensure input into the audit process
  • Develop relevant audit programs in consultation with ,management of the relevant audit areas.
  • Conduct Audits and follow up visits on implementation of agreed actions.
  • Prepare and retain comprehensive audit working papers
  • Document and discuss with auditees the audit findings, and implications of the findings.
  • Prepare audit reports which should include recommendations to address internal control weaknesses or improve performance.
  • Identify the organization's key compliance risks; prioritize the risks in accordance with the risk management policy.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar/ relevant discipline
  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA(UK),CPA(K), CIMA
  • membership with the institute of Internal Auditors(IAA)
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a medium sized organization with at least 1 year's experience at supervisory level.
  • Computer literate and good knowledge of audit / accounting software.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
