Job Title: Accounts Assistant (1 Position)
Reports to: Finance Officer
Duty Station: Napak
Duties and Responsibilities
§ To receive and process all expense forms and requests for payment.
§ Verify calculations and input data in to the Accounts system in an accurate manner.
§ To maintain and reconcile transactions against budget and work plan.
§ To deal with daily transactions for the petty cash and ensure that reconciliation are completed on a weekly basis.
§ To ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner.
§ Prepare cheques for payment.
§ To ensure that all post is done daily.
§ With the support of the ULA Accountant ensure timely production of financial management reports and the provision of financial management information to the Coordinator.
§ With the technical support of the ULA Accountant ensure accurate and timely input into the production of financial reports.
§ Other duties as may be reasonably required will form part of this job description
Education and Experience
A minimum of a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration obtained from a reputable Institution/university with a minimum of 1 year of hands on experience in the field of Financial Management. Knowledge of N’gakaramojong is desirable. Knowledge on Financial packages such as Quick Books will be an advantage.
