Job Title: Financial accountant/ Analyst
Reports to: scheme Administrator

Job Description
Financial Reporting, includes:
  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements in line with regulatory Requirements
  • Monitoring of compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements over all group entities
  • assist in the preparation of audit committee reports
Oversight of of custodian & Investment Managers, includes:
  • Reviewing monthly trial balances from the custodian
  • Assisting the custodian's change control process
Candidate Profile:
You will be a qualified accountant with at least two years accounting experience with strong technical accounting skills relevant investment and fund accounting knowledge

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Good honors degree preferably in Accounting
  • ACCA,CPA,CIMA qualified
  • 2 years experience
Essential skills/knowledge/competencies
  • Strong technical accounting acumen including;IFRS GAAP
  • Relevant experience in within investment accounting
  • strong computer literacy

Purpose of the Job:
To maintain and drive Church of Uganda Program vehicles as per the traffic laws/ regulations, Church of Uganda Vehicle Management policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities:
• To maintain and Drive Church of Uganda Program Vehicles
• Keep proper records of vehicle usage i.e vehicle Log sheets/book to capture mileage, fuel maintenance and movement
