FINCA Uganda is seeking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated, result oriented professional to fill the position below
FINCA (U) is looking for Branch Managers based in different branches. S/He is part of the senior management of the Branch and heads the team. As such S/He supervises all the operations of the Branch in line with the institutional policies and procedures. S/He will be in plan, coordinate and manage the business growth and development of the savings of the Branch by supervising and monitoring performance of staff in line with the strategic plan.
Key Result Areas:
Plan and coordinate Branch office activities in line with FINCA Uganda’s growth objectives. Monitor the daily banking activities ie account opening and back office operations among others in line with Banking policies and procedures.
Manage and supervise the human resources of the Branch and maintain high levels of staff productivity and FINCA (U) customer services. Oversee the effective implementation of internal controls in line with FINCA (U) set policies and procedures. Prepare periodic performance reports as per the reporting schedule of the Branch activities on a monthly, weekly basis.
A university degree preferably Bachelors' degree in Commerce (B. Com) and Business Administration (B.BA) Banking or Micro Finance.
Experience in providing financial and credit services.
Must possess good interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, ability to exercise good judgment, and to work with teams.
At least 3 years work experience in a recognized Micro Finance Institution or Commercial Bank.
Business Management, Credit Analytical Skills and Financial Management Skills.
Fluency in English and two local languages.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge about Banking and Credit management will be an added advantage.
