Specific Responsibilities will include:

• Develops working methods in his field: defines procedures & ensures that they are implemented
• Contributes to the preparation of the annual mechanical maintenance budget
• Keeps himself informed of general plant practices so as to ensure on- call duty

• Enforces statutory regulations regarding safety, health and welfare of the electrical team
• Ensure the proper scheduling, planning, and executing of all electrical maintenance activities of the entire plant to achieve the plant reliability level
• Performing “hands on” operation and maintenance electrical duties
• Maintaining and operating substation high voltage electrical equipment and systems
• Reviewing plant electrical related operational and equipment problems

We are looking for a self motivated and enthusiastic individual who must have the following:
• A degree in electrical engineering with 2-3 years experience or a higher National Diploma with at least 4 years experience working in a busy industrial environment

• Solid understanding of equipment testing, evaluation, calibration, techniques, predictive inspection tools and computer based maintenance management systems

Job Title: Project Coordinator, Audit cell phones Technology for Birth
Duty Station: Kampala

Job Purpose: The project coordinator is responsible providing technical support, coordination, implementation and supervision of all ACT for Birth related project activities. This includes leading the development of research protocols, coordination and implementation of project activities
The successful candidate must have experience in health projects with a focus on MNCH, research procedures, good report writing and comprehension skills, experience in training and support supervision of both community and health facility based health workers, and monitoring and evaluation skills

Job Purpose:
The program manager basic education will take the lead in developing and managing save the children’s Basic Education technical portfolio of education programs in the country and will be responsible for achievement of program goals and objectives, and for reporting on program implementation and out comes.

Program manager basic Education will also provide line management supervision to education partnership managers in the field

Academic background, Experience & Person Specifications:
• A minimum of Bachelors Degree with a focus on in a field such as Social Sciences, Education, Development Studies, or another relevant qualification.
• Graduate or post graduate training in project planning & management, monitoring and evaluation, community development and research or related field is an added advantage
