Job Title: OFFICE ATTENDANT
Ensuring that the office is well attended to and reports to the Manager Finance and Administration

Job Responsibilities
• Ensuring that offices are clean and orderly
• Assisting the Secretary to the Manager Finance and Administration with filing work
• Collect, deliver messages and documents to their destinations as directed by supervisors
• Preparing and serving office refreshments
• Photocopy, bind and fax documents as directed by supervisors
• Assisting the receptionist with guiding visitors
• Any other duties as may be assigned by supervisors

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of Ordinary Level Certificate with at least 4 passes and a credit in English or equivalent qualification
• A qualification in areas related to customer care/hospitality would be an added advantage
• At least 4 years experience in related work in a reputable organisation or project
DRIVER

MAIN DUTIES
 Drive REA Officers both at duty station and in the field
 Deliver and collect mail from various offices/premises
 Maintain vehicle cleanliness
 Ensure that vehicles are sound and in and in good mechanical condition
 Ensure vehicles are parked in safe place
 Maintain Log Books for duties at the work station and in the field
 Any other responsibility as may be assigned by the Supervisors
 Under the supervision of the Manager Finance and Administration

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 Minimum of Ordinary Level Certificate with at least 4 Passes including English Language
 A valid Driving Permit
 Should possess proficiency Test Certificate from the Ministry of Works, Housing and Communication
 At least 5 years accident free proven experience with Government Institutions of which at least three have been spent on donor funded projects

Job Title: ICT SPECIALIST

1. Provide day-to-day ICT support & maintenance of REA’s key ICT infrastructure
2. Manage ICT and computer systems, including budgets and expenditure
3. Support the maintenance of the REA website
4. Support REA’s Email and Internet connectivity
5. Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources
6. Maintain a log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
7. Develop and implement policies and procedures for computer systems operations

Minimum qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in the area of Computing and Information Technology from a recognized Institution.

• Certifications like CCNA, MCP, MCSE are added advantage
Minimum experience:
Five (5) years hands on experience in maintenance & management of ICT operations in a reputable organization.

You should possess the following:
 Proficient knowledge of Windows Server 2003 & Database Administration
 Proficient knowledge in SQL
 Knowledge of programming
 Thorough hands-on experience with Networking (LAN, WAN)

Job: Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Under overall supervision of Director, BugiZARDI and in close guidance of project implementation partners (ICRAF- AHI and ASARECA-PAAP), facilitate Innovation Platforms (IPs) including mechanisms to catalyze wide adoption of Sustainable Land Management (SLM)

2. Establish a framework for data collection, organization, analysis and management and a strategy for sharing with relevant/target stakeholders and capturing feedback.

3. Organize and contribute to capacity building efforts for the actors in the innovation platforms while effectively leading data collection and management.

4. Backstop the process of gender mainstreaming for SLM in the project sites

5. Facilitate the process of bye-law formulation for enhancing the upscaling of SLM in the project sites

6. Catalyzing collective action for purposes of promoting wide adoption of SLM and facilitating the development of community action plans for addressing the project objectives including selecting appropriate SLM innovations, identifying methods, approaches, strategies and tools for implementing the selected SLM innovations and determining how to measure progress based on the needs and SLM innovations identified

7. Implementing and facilitating review and reflection of the communication strategy.

8. Systematically documenting experience and lessons across sites, Innovation Platforms and presenting results in national, regional and international conferences.

9. Perform other duties to support the Director, KAZARDI towards smooth implementation of site level project activities

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants should possess at least a BSc (Hons.) degree in Agricultural Science disciplines or Natural Resource Management with hands on experience in project management in rural settings. He/she should be well versed with participatory research approaches, a team player with specialised skills in communication, participatory monitoring and evaluation as well as writing to a wide range of audience. Demonstrated experience in driving with a valid licence is a requirement.

Duration of the assignment: One year renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
