Duties and Responsibilities:
• Designing, developing, and deploying educational resources for distance learning access such as conducting courses via video conferencing over the internet, networking, and webcasting

• Marketing UMI training programmes including distributing distance learning course offerings, schedules and web sites where they can be accessed
Administrative duties:

Person Specifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Strengthening the initiation of quality Assurance strategy by;
• Sensitizing and training UMI teaching and non-teaching staff on the Quality Assurance Strategy
• Closely working with UMI departments/ Units in the development of Quality Assurance benchmarks
• Ensuring implementation of the quality assurance policy and measures
• Monitoring and evaluating the Quality Assurance strategies.
• Developing a UMI quality Assurance framework and handbook

Enforcing the implementation of the National Council of Higher Education Guidelines by:
• Reviewing current and proposed training programs in line with the NCHE guidelines

Undertaking data analysis and research by:
• Conducting Quality Assurance reviews of the services and policies with in the institute and recommending to the unit how standards of services can be improved
• Conducting audits of services for which there is need to improve standards as measured by performance indicators and making recommendations to the Unit about how performance can be improved

Person Specifications:
• A Masters Degree in Education in any of the following specialties: Curriculum Studies, Education Monitoring and evaluation, education policy and planning
• An honors degree in Arts/ Science with Education
• Professional qualification in relevant field will be of added advantage
• Teaching experience in a higher education institution for at least five years is required

4) Job Specifications:
The Officer shall be responsible for: Providing legal advisory services on the Bank’s capital and procurement projects. Participating in the review of project documents and preparation of contracts in respect of Bank projects and other matters. Advising on payment systems matters. Follow-up on matters under litigation and prepare requisite briefs. Preparation and registration of mortgages for the Bank’s staff Building Loan Scheme. (1) Person Specifications:
Qualifications: A First Class or Upper Second Class University degree in law and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Kampala. A Masters degree in law (preferably in Commercial and Corporate law) will be an added advantage. Must have been enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda for at least three (3) years.

Should be computer literate.
(2) Experience:
Should have five years of practical experience in a busy commercial law firm or a legal department of a commercial entity.

(3) Age : 28 – 35 Years
