Job Title: Project Officers
Station: Nakasongola and Nakasere and Luwero.
Responsibilities:
• In liaison with other project staff, to develop an effective and coherent plan for the field work.
• To ensure the effective and successful planning budgeting, management and implementation of project activities on the ground.
• To monitor and evaluate the implementation of the project activities.
• To play an active role as a member of the ISLIP project team.
Qualifications:
• Educated to degree level in a relevant subject e.g. agri-business, agricultural economics,
• At least 3 years professional experience of working with agri-business, marketing and farmer organizations in Uganda.
• Knowledge and practical experience as value chain development and agricultural financing.
• Previous private sector work experience in the agriculture or food industry is desirable.
• Experience of farmer participatory research and the farmer field school approach is desirable.
• Valid motorcycle license and off road motor cycle during experience is desirable.
