Job Title: Administrative Assistant & Typesetter, Lira Office
Reports to: Editor Rupiny
Description of Purpose: to provide administrative support for the office in order to ensure smooth office operations
Key Result Areas;
• Drawing up induction plans for the new staff of rupiny both permanent and freelance reporters in the department in order for them to understand the process in the bureau
• Arrange and organize for new staff their work stations, computers IDs to avail them the necessary work tools and ease communication
• Coordinate the payment of utility bills to ensure that they are paid on time
• Coding vouchers and inputting them into navision
• Liaise with the HR Department on all staff welfare and benefit issues
Qualifications & Experience:
• A bachelors degree from a recognized university
• Ability to manage staff in a people focused manner
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, motivation and planning skills
