Job Title: Inventory Controller

Reports to: Stores Controller

Job Purpose:
The position exists to maintain accurate stores information and accounts for all inventory for CAA

Education:
B.Com with an Accounting or Finance option, bachelors of supplies & procurement management and a post graduate diploma from a chartered institute of purchasing and Supply

Experience;
At least 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable large organization 3 of which should be in management of stores

Knowledge & Skills
•    Must have extensive knowledge of stores and inventory management
•    Must have working knowledge of MS Word,  Excel, PowerPoint and sun- sytem accounting
•    Must be of high integrity

Principal Accountabilities:
•    Updates and maintains the stores register and ensures accurate information which includes description, date of purchase, date issued, receiving department and value
Controls the coding and engraving of stock items for ease of identification

The position exists to provide safe Aviation Practices and Standards in Uganda thereby promoting the growth of the Aviation Industry in Uganda

Education & Experience:
•    A good relevant degree in numerical sciences such as telecommunications Engineering, maths, physics, or geography from a recognized university with professional qualifications in any of the Civil Aviation disciplines
•    At least 12 years relevant working experience, 4 of which must have been at managerial level in an air line or civil aviation disciplines

Or
•    A level and a pilot’ license with at least ATPL, flight oversight inspections and flight operations inspections training
