Perform all reconciliations relating to the role e.g. reconcile the cash journal to the daily banking.

University Graduate with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Prior experience in depot operations will be an advantage.
Computer skills, including knowledge and experience in using spreadsheets such as Excel.
Prior work experience in a busy commercial environment is an advantage.
In addition a working knowledge and understanding of Kiswahili, French and Kinyarwanda is a prerequisite.
Energetic individual, pleasant, good communicator with a good temperament.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

1.  Education required: Completion of Secondary School both ('O' and 'A') level is required.

Job Title: Stores Assistant
The Stores Assistant reports directly to the Stores Management Officer.
Location of office: Entebbe
Purpose of the job: To ensure that the trading stock of NMS is well kept and availed in line with the Stores Procedures Manual.

Key Accountabilities/Key Result Areas:
1) Receive NMS trading stocks and third party consignments in with the Stores Procedures Manual.
2) Coordinate the packing of orders as per working instructions in order to meet delivery schedule
3) Maintain up to-date records of stock at the locations supervised according to the Stores Procedures Manual.
4) Maintain secure, safe and hygienic storage conditions the Stores Operations Manual.
5) Ensure optimal utilization of storage space through the physical movement, consolidation and rotation of stocks at the Locations physically as appropriate and in line with the Stores Operations Manual and working instructions.
6) Carry out the physical checking of picked goods before handing them over for dispatch.
7) Produce periodic reports in line with the Stores Operations Manual
8) Supervise allocated subordinate staff in accordance with the Human Resource Manual.

Qualifications and experience:
• Minimum qualification of an honour's degree.
• Good knowledge of spread sheets, databases and word processing software
• 2 years relevant working experience in a pharmaceutical warehouse.
• Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
• Able to work within set deadlines and under pres Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Must be reliable and of high Integrity

Job summary:
To provide stores and logistics support and monitor proper accountability of goods and safeguard assets of the organization.

Key Result Areas:
1. Control, issuance, receipt and dispatch of all goods
2. Stocks levels well maintained
3. Incoming materials inspected against quality and quantity
4. All products properly labeled and stored
5. Out-sourced materials assessed for quality
6. Re-order level reports timely made and submitted

Qualification and job skills required:
• Degree in Accounting, Business Studies/Administration, with stores management option
• Part qualification in ACCA, CPA (K) OR CPA (U),C!PS
• At least 3 years' experience of accounts work in an in an NGO
• Proven knowledge of financial accounting procedures, multi-donor reporting, and clear understanding of Government of Uganda accounting requirements,
• Book keeping skills, computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets and at least one accounting package
• High level of honesty and integrity
