"The American Embassy is seeking for an individual for the position of Assistant NEPA Clerk in the Warehouse Section (GSO)."
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
 Responsible for assisting the NEPA Clerk with tracking and monitoring status and location of the complete inventory of non-expendable property, working with all seven agencies and all GSO sections to insure the integrity and safekeeping of USG property and reviewing in-coming/out-going reports.  Responsible for maintaining party supply and welcome kit inventories and issuing items per requests.  Assists warehouse laborer teams in times of staff shortages or unusually heavy workloads.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
NOTE:  All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.
1.  Education required: Completion of Secondary School both ('O' and 'A') level is required.
2.   Work Experience required:  One year of clerical or data entry work experience required
3.  Language required:  Level II English ability (good working knowledge), must be able to distinguish between sophisticated nomenclature to assure accurate identification and classification is required.
4.  Knowledge required:  Basic knowledge of operating computer data input equipment is required.
5. Skills and Abilities required: Must be able to tolerate repetitive work, without losing interest in the subject matter.  Must be able to operate the keyboard data input machines at level II typing (30wpm).  Interpersonal skills required when dealing with American employees and family members is required.  Physical work and safety decisions when moving furniture and using cleaning materials are required.
SELECTION PROCESS
When equally qualified, US Citizen Eligible Family Members (USEFMs) and U.S. Veterans are given preference.  Therefore, it is essential that the candidate specifically address the required qualifications above in the application.
ADDITIONAL SELECTION CRITERIA
1.  Management will consider nepotism/conflict of interest, budget, and visa status in determining successful candidacy.
2.  Current employees serving a probationary period are not eligible to apply.
3.  Current Ordinarily Resident employees with an Overall Summary Rating of Needs Improvement or Unsatisfactory on their most recent Employee Performance Report are not eligible to apply.
4.   Currently employed US Citizen EFMs who hold a Family Member Appointment (FMA) are ineligible to apply for advertised positions within the first 90 calendar days of their appointment.
5.   Currently employed NORs hired under a Personal Services Agreement (PSA) are ineligible to apply for advertised positions within the first 90 calendar days of their employment unless currently hired into a position with a When Actually Employed (WAE) work schedule.
