Duties and Responsibilities:

Training to develop knowledge and skills to maintain all equipment related to cementing, stimulation, coiled tubing, and rigging up.
Operate auxiliary equipment and pump unit while maintaining excellent quality control and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Attendance and successful completion of new employee safety training, driver training and Basic Operators School (BOS).
Compliance with all governmental regulations, industry standards and observes all health, safety and environmental policies to reduce environmental impacts.
Drive specialized company equipment to and from service jobs, following accepted company convoy procedures.
Spot equipment into position; rig up treating lines, hoses, wellhead connections, etc., to trucks, tanks and wells, according to company location safety standards.
Blend and prepare chemicals for pumping according to established procedures.
Strive for service quality.
Participate in well site job risk analysis and continual improvement programs in the district that affect client satisfaction.
Wear personal protective equipment at all times and observe health, safety and environmental policies.
Successfully complete required safety training (including but not limited to forklift, drugs and alcohol, electrical, emergency response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, Personal Protective Equipment, risk reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, driving).

Diploma in a Technical field.

To provide reliable and courteous transportation services for our clients with safety a top priority.
To operate and maintain assigned vehicle(s); and to maintain vehicle and clients’ records.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect vehicles for defects and safe operating condition before, during and after trips and submit a written report on the condition of the vehicles at the end of each trip or tour of duty.
Maintain appearance of vehicles; inside the cab at all times and outside when conditions permit.
Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, bad weather or in tight loading dock areas.
Maintain records required for compliance with Uganda regulations including driver's logs and other records required by law and the company.
Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with local regulations for the safe operation of motor vehicles.
Report highway safety hazards noted in route.
Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions or other emergencies, or in the event of irregularities relating to pickup or delivery of cargo.


Necessary Qualifications:

Must possess a valid Drivers License - "A" and “CM” class.
Must have the ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations with mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc.
Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
Must have knowledge of regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance.
Must be able to sit and remain alert while driving for an aggregate period of up to 10 hours.
Must have free movement of the wrist and hands.
Must have average to excellent body coordination.
Must be able to hook/unhook various commercial vehicle combinations, manually lower and raise landing gear, operate the fifth wheel release lever, and climb into and out of vehicles, fuel vehicles and check engine oil and coolant levels.

POSITION OBJECTIVE
To manage, monitor and control the accounting activities and formulate accounting procedures in line with the Company’s strategic plan.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

Monitoring financial transactions
Liaising with Revenue Authority/Auditors in order to ensure that policies are being followed
Supervising Accounts staff
Authorisation of payments
Budget analysis and performance
Disseminate finance management reports
Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports
Ensure good internal systems are developed and implemented
Compliance to statutory guidelines
Provide financial advice and guidance to the organisation
Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the organisation meets its financial obligations.



Necessary Qualifications:

A Bachelors Degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a bias in Accounting
ACCA, CPA or Post Graduate qualification in Financial Management
A person of integrity
At least 3 years post qualification work experience in Finance and Accounting management
Knowledge of Accounting Software required preferably in ERP environment.
The company uses SAP software however this is not essential as it can be trained – provided the candidate has used other accounting software.
Management, direction, coordination and evaluation of staff in Finance and Accounting
Ability to set up and implement various procedures to protect the safety and integrity of the company’s assets
Work experience in the Oil and Gas industry
