Job Description (Duties):

To enhance the Company's image and promote client relations.
To take instructions in all aspects of the work for which training has been given.
To Independently pursue opportunities that observe maintenance functions and to practice maintenance skills.
To provide assistance and guidance to Trainee Operators.
To report all malfunctions or suspected areas of trouble to the appropriate shop personnel and keep the Engineer informed at all times.



Necessary Qualifications:

Candidate should have at least a Diploma or Degree in a technical field.
HGV Licence

Other Specifications:

Should be able to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form, and deal with problems involving standardized situations.
Should be able to perform standard arithmetic operations, compute ratio, rate, and percent, and calculate weights, measures, surfaces and volume.
Should be able to read and interpret basic instructions for assembly of materials, blueprints, technical specifications, diagrams, manuals for operation and repair of equipment, and schematic diagrams.

Materials, Tools, and Equipment that will be handled:

Down-hole tools (including logging tools and heads).
Winch unit.
Air wrenches, spanner wrenches, hand tools, calipers, and paint spray guns.
Grease, lubricants, alcohol, paint, and solvents and cleaners.
Standard and specialized workshop tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, spanners, pliers, and hammers.
Rig-up equipment, wire line cable, rope socket tools and equipment, and bridles and heads.
Transports, logging trucks, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
Other equipment and materials as are identified as integral to the completion of the essential functions of the job.
