At least eight years’ relevant experience in the construction and/or supervision of electrical works of between 132 and 220 kV.

2.Objectives of the Assignment

3.Terms of reference  and scope of services
Their scope of work shall include;
a.Review    existing guidelines  including  specifications ,bill of quantinties ,  architecture and working  drawings  of all facilities  provided  under the project.
b.Review by the group collectively  and by the quantity surveyor , particularly , the priced bill of quantities,  including the rate analysis  of the different  items of works  and finalise the  rate analysis  based on  fist principles  of all items of works  of the different facilities provided  under the project .
c.Review  the bid evaluation reports ,check the arithmetical  corrections and comparison  of bids of the responsive  bidders and the recommendations of award  by the schools  and submit the recommendations   to Assistant  Commissioner  PDU  through  AC/CMU. For review  and  decision ;
d.Review the  authenticity  and validity and monitor and track  the performance bounds  and Bank guarantees  and ensure through  the Technical  Supervising  Firms  (TSF’s), that these are always  updated  till the handing  over of the Schools .
4.Remuneration ;
Attractive  package  (negotiable)  commensurate with  the qualifications .

2. Gives the necessary assistance to workshop users.
3. Prepares workshop materials and chemicals as required by the Supervisor/lecturers
4. Ensures that all the workshop equipment is kept clean and in good condition.
5. Ensures safe disposal of hazardous laboratory substances and wastes.
6. Keeps record of stock and requisitions for necessary supplies for laboratory use.
7. Performs other duties assigned by Lecturers and the Head of Department.
Person specifications
1. Must have a bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering and Management
2. Must have an Ordinary Diploma in refrigeration and air conditioning or its equivalent from a recognised institution.
3. At least two years of relevant working experience.
4. Should have good communication and interpersonal skills
5. Must be proficient in using computer packages.
6. Should be able to work as a member of team.
7. Must be a person of high integrity.
