Job Title: Procurement Support Officer
Reports to: Manager-Finance and Administration

Purpose: To coordinate and manage the procurement of goods, works and services of the organization

Duties:
  • Provide framework and guidelines for policies and procedures on procurement for use by Local Governments in accordance with Government and donor regulation and guidelines
  • Monitor implementation of procurement guidelines to ensure adherence so as to facilitate approval of sample contracts
  • Assure the provision of technical back-up and support the procurement units at local government levels
Personal Specifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Procurement and Logistics management, B.com, BBA, BA/BSC Econ, Production and Supply Chain Management, Public Administration plus Supply Chain Management , public Administration plus at least level iv of CIPS.
  • Masters degree in related field will be added advantage
Experience:
At least 5 years relevant experience 3 of which must have been at a senior level with increasing responsibility demonstrated in the management of complex procurement of goods and services.

Job Title: Human Resource Assistant

Main purpose of the role:
The Human Resource Assistant will provide HR Support services to the Project Staff and general administrative support for the performance of several HR functions:

Principal Accountabilities and duties:
  • Provision of HR support to the project staff and the entire project management team in policy adherence and implementation
  • Act as the main point of contact between the HR office and staff
  • Conduct new hire orientation of project staff
  • Maintain and ensure good employee relations
  • Arrange logistics for all in-house staff training courses
  • Maintain and update HR files- including personnel files and the HR database.
  • Employ Counseling and guidance on various HR aspects
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned.
Education and Experience:

Other Requirements:

Overall Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing accounting support to the STRIDES for Family Health Project, ensuring that all financial activities of the project are conducted in accordance with MsH financial policies and procedures
  • Ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded, bank reconciliations are done and all staff advances are paid and reconciled on time.
  • Responsible for producing regular Regional Office Financial reports
  • Assist in preparing budgets and cash flow forecasts for the Regional Office
  • Safe guard of MSH assets against fraud, loss or damage.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Accounting from a recognized University
  • 3 years of demonstrated financial and administrative experience in large or international organizations
  • Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Experience in management of motorcycles

Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer:

Overall Responsibilities:
  • The M&E Officer will perform a range of M&E support functions which are critical to the smooth running of STRIDES performance based contracts (PBC) and nutrition monitoring system including the establishment and implementation of all nutrition M&E system.
  • S/he will participate in the data verification exercises and support M&E capacity building efforts for STRIDES sub-contractors
  • Participate in the review of reports submitted by the contractors to ensure consistancy with the approved reporting formats and PMPS
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a degree in social Sciences, development studies, public health or other relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in monitoring, data processing and data analysis
  • knowledge, skills and experience in key M&E standard tools such as PMPS
  • Knowledge and experience in working with civil society organizations and districts/ government
  • High level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills including report writing and analytical skills
