The Project Manager will be responsible to supervise and provide technical assistance to the project partners, working closely with the district health teams, Youth and Women groups, other RH stake holders, designated health facilities and Youth corners and Community resource groups as well as routinely and appropriately link up with strides Regional Office based in Fort Portal.

Essential Skills and Experience include: Managing RH/Child Survival programs, working with young people, community/health systems strengthening, working with health private sector programs, skills in performance monitoring and program management approaches.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee finance and budget management of activities.
  • Maintain all records and documentation of project activities in line with pathfinder International policies and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

1.  Education required:  Degree from a professional nursing school and in possession of a current and unrestricted Registered Nursing license from the U.S. or Western European equivalent is required.
2.   Work Experience:  At least two years of occupational health experience, with at least one year being with a Western primary health care facility is required.   Previous teaching with at least three of the following health promotion activities is required: smoking cessation, weight reduction, well child anticipatory guidance; emergency first aid; prenatal classes; stress management and relaxation and HIV prevention is required.
3.   Language:  Level IV (Fluent) English ability is required.
4. Knowledge: Current training or working knowledge in emergency preparedness is required.
5.  Skills and Abilities:  Demonstrated skill and ability to administer adult and pediatric immunization programs according to current CDC standards, and ability to provide travel medicine recommendations and health precautions are required.

SELECTION PROCESS
