 Representing Kampala Capital Authority in Courts of Law and prosecuting both civil and criminal cases.
 Serving as a Quality Assurance Officer to ensure that all operational standards relating to case management are followed in both civil and criminal prosecutions.

The incumbent will be responsible to the immediate Supervisor for performing the following duties:-
1. Mobilizing and Sensitizing the community about government/KCCA policies , bye-laws and ordinances and ensuring that they are adhered to by the community.
2. Recording minutes, providing guidance and advising to the ward urban council in line with the KCCA guidelines
3. Monitoring and controlling developments in the urban ward and making reports to appropriate directorates in line with KCCA objectives

 Generating reports from judgments / rulings for use by the Departments and stakeholders in line with the relevant laws.

DUTIES:-
The incumbent will be responsible to the Supervisor for performing the following duties:-
 Designing job adverts and coordinating the process of advertising them as per HRD policies and public and corporate affairs.
 Reviewing the Authority structures and identifying vacancies and coordinate the process of filling the identified vacancies as per the staffing budget and business plan
 Making arrangement for recruiting both permanent and temporary staff in line with the approved staffing budget and business plan

 Developing and implementing orientation programme for all new staff as per the HR policy and procedures.
 Developing and implementing a system for continuously monitoring tenure of employment for all KCCA staff (probation, contract, acting appointments, deferment of probation, temporary and casual retirement schedules) in line with HR policy and existing Human Resource Information Systems and best practice.
 Maintaining a comprehensive system management of job applications database on applications received, monitor, process and report on the status of job applications in the data base in line with HR policy, operational standards and the staffing plan.
 Developing, reviewing and implementing a system for preliminary verification and vetting of job seekers’/ potential employees’ credentials to the HR Information Officer for registration of new employees, in line with the Authority’s policy.
 Initiating and coordinating the process of referencing and background checks on successful candidates, follow up the dispatch, retrieval and authentication of reference information on new potential employees in line with HR policy and standards.
