DUTIES:-
The incumbent will be responsible to the Deputy Director Human Resources for performing the following duties:-
 Evaluating the validity and impacting of the Human Resource Management policies and strategies in line with the KCCA Objectives, management decisions and the HRMM.
 Coordinating, implementing, managing and evaluating the KCCA staff wellness Policy and programs in line with the HRMM.
 Coordinating the budget process for the annual HR activities in line with the Business plan and the KCCA Financial Guidelines.
 Planning, developing guidelines and coordinating, and advising management in line with Organizations Growth Strategy
 Drawing work plans, coordinating, supervising and evaluating the implementation process of staff recruitments selection and placements in accordance with the HRMM Recruitment Procedures.
 Coordinating periodic skills audit and generating analytical reports for all Authority staff in line with HR policy, HR Business plan, corporate strategy and objectives.

 Planning and monitoring the implementation of leadership development programs and the Authority curriculum in line with KCCA capacity building policies and company objectives
 Developing and reviewing the Authority’s’ training curriculum for the different programmes in line with the Authority’s training policy and best practice
 Developing and reviewing KCCA leadership development curriculum based on identified corporate, Departmental and Individual needs
 Coordinating and reviewing the implementation of KCCA Leadership Development programs in line with KCCA capacity Building policies and procedures.

 Preparing monthly payroll change reports and submitting it to the supervisor in line with the payroll management guidelines
 Providing explanation to any payroll variances to staff in line with the payroll management guidelines
 Maintaining an updated staff lists for KCCA staff in line with KCCA guidelines
 Sensitizing KCCA staff about their terms and conditions of services in line with the Public Services Standing order and KCCA guidelines

 Maintaining a comprehensive system management of job applications database on applications received, monitor, process and report on the status of job applications in the data base in line with HR policy, operational standards and the staffing plan.
 Developing, reviewing and implementing a system for preliminary verification and vetting of job seekers’/ potential employees’ credentials to the HR Information Officer for registration of new employees, in line with the Authority’s policy.
 Initiating and coordinating the process of referencing and background checks on successful candidates, follow up the dispatch, retrieval and authentication of reference information on new potential employees in line with HR policy and standards. DUTIES:-
The incumbent will be responsible to the Supervisor for performing the following duties:-
 Preparing and submitting monthly HR metrics reports for management decision in line with the HRD policies and procedure

 Coordinating the process of preparing monthly unit and HRD report in line with HR Division work plan
 Coordinating the automation of the HR business processes, Synchronize manpower data and generate reports in line with Departmental Guidelines.
 Capturing all staff information in the HR system in line with Administration and Human Resources Directorate guidelines.
 Conducting regular systems backups and restoration procedures in line with IT operational procedures and Departmental Guidelines.
 Editing and updating HR information databases in accordance with departmental instructions.
 Logging, tracking and file source documents in line with Directorate Guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honor’s Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Organizational Psychology or Business Administration (Management Option) or Public Administration or Management or Arts or Social Science or any other course in the field of Human Resource Management/Public Administration and Management or Social work and Social Administration from a recognized institution.
Possession of a minimum of a post graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or Public Administration and Management or Organizational and Industrial Psychology or Business Administration (Management option) from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.

 Managing trainee deployments and monitoring the supervision of field work in line with the Training code
