A reputable Hotel in Kasese District is seeking to recruit a Hotel Chef who meets the following requirements:
• Overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen.
• Liaising with Purchases Manager for food orders.
• Maintaining or raising the profit margins on food.
• Producing menus and new dishes.
• Managing, training, and recruiting an excellent team of Kitchen Staff.
• Willing to work long hours.
• Excellent cooking skills.
• An understanding of produce and ingredients.
• The ability to write menus that are both creative and profitable.
• Good management and leadership skills.
• Minimum of Diploma in Hotel Catering, Diploma in Professional Cookery, a foundation Degree in Culinary Arts, or other relevant qualification, from a reputable Institution.
• Atleast 2 years experience as Hotel Chef.
