Job Description (Duties):

Our client Sanlam Life Insurance (U) Limited is a reputable International Life Insurance Company and is looking for a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position above:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the sales of insurance products and the identification of opportunities in selected and identified corporate in Uganda.
To evaluate and develop market opportunities.
To identify corporates where we can do business and develop a strategy to get access to them.
To monitor and evaluate the market in Uganda with a view to determining clients’ needs.
To build relationships with key individuals in corporate in order to be the first option for insurance business.
To assist corporate with the necessary distribution strategies in order to enable them to conclude business with us.
To build effective relationships with key broker groups in order to identify opportunities to work together and build business partnerships in the corporate environment.
To identify and facilitate the processes with respect to corporate and group business and identify product gaps with relevant solution strategies.


Necessary Qualifications:

Relevant tertiary or an insurance related qualification would be desirable.
A minimum of 5 years or more experience in a sales management position, preferably in the emerging markets life insurance industry.
Proven sales and management track record.
