Job description
1. Collect and analyse data that appertains to network performance from internal sources, including Customer care operations, sales and IT. 2.

Collect and analyse data relating to network performance, availability and opportunities including government department and current and potential customers and update vector and raster data bases

3. Prepare the relevant statistical/economic information to support the business cases

4. Consult with Regional sales and Distribution teams regarding coverage requirements and identified potential.

5. Draft proposals in consultation with the CVD and Planning Manager.

6. Participate in the compilation of planning board submissions in respect to new sites.

7. Gather information on sales and marketing activity plans that are likely to impact network demand.

8. Monitor performance of sites and provide feedback to the operations team in instances of sub optimal service.

9. Monitor expenditure by marketing team members against set budget and compile expenditure reports for the department, highlighting instances of over and under spend.

Qualifications and working experience

• Bachelors degree in business, or research

• At least 2 year experience in Research or Monitoring and Evaluation and/or planning in a commercial setting

• Able to operate in a performance driven organization • Excellent planning and organisational skills

• Business awareness • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills • Strong Analytical skills and problem solving skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills • Sets high personal standards and is goal oriented

• Excellent and effective communications skills, both orally and in writing.
