Job Title: Grants and Business Development Officer
Directorate: Country Director's Office
Reports to: Country Director

Job Summary: The job holder will be responsible for coordi¬nating and preparing funding proposals for submission to prospective donors, including providing guidance in the process of attracting Grants, mobilizing resources, identifying potential funding sources and other income generating oppor¬tunities, and coordinating the Grant resources transfer to Finance office in line with Mildmay Uganda policies/proce¬dures, and ensuring compliance with the donor regulations.

Job Requirements: 1st Degree preferably B.Com or BBA or other relevant degree, plus post-graduate qualifications in Project Planning and Management or advance degree (Masters) in Business Development Studies or investment Analysis. Experience of 4 years in a middle management position; capable of formulating and writing resource mobilization proposals, fund raising and grants management. Experience in dealing with donor funded projects; training in fundraising and an appropriate qualification, and exposure to health grants management are desirable.
