The right candidate will assume responsibility for the supervision of all accounting and administrative matters for PCI- Tanzania. Must be goal oriented and have ability to participate as a member of management team of the organization. Must be able to work well with people and lead by example.

Duties & Key Responsibilities
* Assist Country Director in strategic and operational plans and development. * Partner with Country Director on the preparation of monthly reporting documents for update calls to CFO and COO who are located at International Office in USA. * Assure organizational compliance by various partner organizations * Ensure appropriate implementation and maintenance of internal controls * Direct preparation of monthly reports, budget, forecast and report on variances * Provide supervision to Finance and Administration staff * Follow strict donor grant requirements * Participate with program staff in the development of periodic forecasts * Effectively manage cash treasury and forecasts * Ensure compliance of all statutory regulations and guidance * Effectively interface with legal counsel as needed on behalf of the organization * Meet tight reporting deadlines for both donors and international headquarter office * Supervise procurement in compliance with PCI and regulatory standards * Travel as needed to assure quality of financial operations in individual partner organizations * Have a complete understanding of organization business model to minimize co-funding and meet annual financial objectives * Direct IT and administrative activities within the office * Ensure integration between accounting and program teams * Lead capacity building with partners in the Finance and Administration area * Cover for Country Director during periods of absence * Interface effectively with CFO in International Office and participate as a member of a global finance team

Required Qualifications:
* Professionally qualified accountant, registered with appropriate government authorities * Advanced Graduate degree in Business/Accountancy preferred * Audit experience (in public accounting preferred) * Experience with dual reporting relationships (field and headquarters) * Ten years accounting management experience with computer literacy * Fluency, both written and spoken, in English required * Experienced with foreign exchange issues * Must be proficient with Excel and Word * Strong leadership qualities are essential * Experience with automated and integrated accounting packages required; proficiency in ACCPAC preferred
