Duty Station : Kasese District
Major Responsibilities
• Participate in implementation of programs for child protection, empowerment, education and HIV/AIDS.
• Participate in operationalizing the approved monitoring and learning systems.
• Support in assessment and coordination of capacity development programs to partners.
• Engage community members to promote child protection, empowerment, education and HIV/AIDS prevention and mitigation in
communities.
• Provide support services (medical, psychosocial and other necessary support) to abused children and effectively link them to
other services.
• Participate in advocacy work at the district and community level.
• Prepare of periodic narrative reports.
• Document processes, lessons learnt, good practices and share them with stakeholders.
• Participate in mobilization of resources for ANPPCAN’s programs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• A degree in Social Work and Social Administration, Development Studies, Community/ Social/ Counseling Psychology, Social
Sciences with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar job. Additional skills in Project Planning and Management are an
advantage.
• Basic understanding of child rights programming
• Experience in HIV/AIDS, Advocacy, Livelihoods and Education programs for children are an advantage.
• Must be fluent in Lukonzo and or Rutoro
• Age range of 23 – 35 years. Ladies are particularly encouraged to apply
