Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Scope of Position:
The holder of this position will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all UNRA industrial/ domestic electrical installations which include but are not limited to stand by electrical generator sets, weighbridge systems, street lighting & control, refrigeration and Air condition system

Position relationships:

• Reports to Mechanical Services Manager
• Liaises with various UNRA staff Managers and Engineers for smooth running and maintenance of UNRA electrical/ electronic installations.
• Supervise the Electrical Technician

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Plans for operation and maintenance of UnRA industrial / Domestic electric / electronic installations
• Prepares a yearly procurement plan for electric/ electronic installations
• Supervises maintenance activities of UNRA electric installations

Person Specification:
The applicant must be a qualified electric engineer with adegree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent plus:

• Five years working experience in industrial /domestic electrical installation and maintenance
• Knowledge of electronic control system
• Knowledge of electromechanical switch gear control systems
• Knowledge of industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems

Membership of relevant institution will be an added advantage.
Age: below 45 years.
