Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
REF No UM/CTO/02/09/11
Reports to : Chief Technical Officer

Job Purpose:
Responsible for developing and maintaining engineering standards, materials specifications, technology research and engineering quality management.

Key Responsibilities;

• developing and maintaining a materials specifications bank
• Preparation of tender documents for materials procurement and tender technical evaluation
• Developing and maintaining engineering standards, drawings, work procedures and work instructions
• Developing and managing a quality management document control system.
• Researching and Ensuring that UMEME engineering practice is up to date with latest technology

Required Qualification and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
a post graduate qualification in business or management will be an added advantage
Qualification in ISO quality assurance standards.
At least 5 years post qualification in a leadership role.

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Competence in use of compter data management packages, excel, access.
