Job Title: Executive Director
Reports to: The Board of Directors
The executive Director will provide overall strategic leadership and responsible for all administrative and financial operations and will ensure that projects and programs are executed with quality and accountability. The quality director will also spearhead the department’s efforts to maintain donor relationship and respond to calls for proposals and other funding opportunities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Take lead in development of proposals to secure funding for projects and programs which should be in line with strategic plan
• Provide essential leadership and coordination, key in decision making in relation to the diocese and other Stakeholders
• Over see and participate in the day to day management of the office
• Execute policies formulated by the Board
Qualifications and Experience:
• A minimum of a masters degree in Development studies, Social Sector planning and management, international development, Agriculture Economics and Development Economics or related field
• A minimum of 5 years proven track record in leading and managing development programs in the development circles
• A person committed to Christian values, gender equality and empowerment of vulnerable populations
