Job title: Research Assistant for AGRA project
The alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa, an African-led organization that is supporting and working with National Agricultural research Organization to catalyze development and adoption of new crop technologies
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Prepare for and conduct planting, field maintenance, data collection and harvesting
• Assist in computer related activities and provide support for breeding and field testing activities
• Supervise and train temporary employees
Required Skills
• BSc degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Plant Breeding, Horticulture or related fields
• Possession of masters degree in relevant field will be an added advantage
• Basic understanding of farm equipment maintenance
