VEHICLE FLEET LEADER

Location: Kampala, Uganda.

Primary function: To supervise and coordinate transportation and ensure vehicles are in working condition at all times.

Responsibilities:

    Supervise the Coordinator in order to ensure smooth flow in transportation.
    Provide advice to management on potential transport requirements.
    Monitor the fleet budget position and annual.vehicle replacements.
    Ensure vehicles are maintained and repaired on time in order to meet the Company’s quality standards.
    Perform spot safety checks for safety compliance.
    Other duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirement:

    Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field; Motor/Mechanical is preferred.
    At least 8 years relevant experience in Transport Coordination obtained from a middle-large scale Organization.
    Excellent written and spoken English.

Knowledge:

    Vehicle mechanics.
    Rules and regulations of Traffic Laws in Uganda.
    Safety awareness of International organizations or Companies.
    Clear understanding of oil Exploration & Production.
