Job Title: Technician Apiculture

Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Identify nectar and pollen sources for honeybees, collect seed and raise tree nurseries of bee forage plants
•    Maintain the NaLIRRI demonstration apiary and the bee forage garden
•    Collect and conserve indigenous bee genetic resources
•    Examine bees to detect the presence of disease

Minimum Qualifications;
•    Diploma in bee keeping, Diploma in Agriculture with an Entromology option
•    Two years relevant experience in beneficial management
