Records Officer Job Vacancy at Uganda Registration Services Bureau


Job Title: Records Officer - REGIONAL OFFICE.

Reports to: SENIOR REGISTRATION OFFICER

Duties:
• Responsible for the Security Registry and custody of all the files in the Registry.
• Maintain and safe guard fi les in the registry.
• Responsible for the recording in the movement register of files and their tracking.
• Retrieval and searches of fi les.
• Supervise the Archives.
• Quality Assurance of status of the registry and make reports.
• Responsible for shelving and classification of fi les in the Registry

Qualification and Experience:
• Honors Degree in Librarianship and Information Science.
• Minimum experience of 5 years in records management or librarianship.

Key Outputs:
• Security registry effectively supervised.
• Register all fi les kept and accounted for.
• Movement register maintained.
• Shelves well labeled.

Personal Specification:
• Computer literate, good communication skills and records keeping.
