Job purpose: To support and facilitate the conduct of daily clinical study activities and provide medical care to study participants

Roles & Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for accomplishing the following:

• Provide follow-up assessment and medical care to study participants.

• Participate in protocol development, reviews and preparation for ethics and regulatory submissions.

• Provide appropriate training and mentorship to study clinic team.

• Contribute to development and implementation of participant recruitment strategies.

• Screen participants for study eligibility.

• Coordinate participant tests and procedures and collect data as required by the protocol

• Maintain an effective and ongoing communication with study team, investigators and sponsors

• Manage daily study clinic activities including problem solving, communication and protocol management.

• Contribute to research through writing of scientific papers as required.

Education, Skills and Experience needed

• MMED (Internal Medicine)

• Experience in managing patients with non communicable diseases

• Experience in research
