Job Title: Health Specialists, Uganda

Chemonics seeks senior-level health specialists for long- and short-term assignments for an anticipated USAID-funded health project in Uganda. The project aims to expand availability, increase affordability, and improve the quality of health services by private service providers. Specialists will develop and implement technical activities to support private sector involvement in health-care delivery. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
We seeking specialists in the following technical areas:
Public-private partnerships
Behavior change communications and social marketing
Pre-service and in-service training
Health finance
Private sector health service delivery (hospitals, clinics, private practitioners)
Health service expansion and integration
Institutional and human capacity building
Health policy and advocacy
Quality improvement and assurance
Maternal, neonatal, and child health and nutrition
Reproductive health and family planning
HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis
Monitoring and evaluation
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in public health, social sciences, or a related field required
Minimum seven years of experience in a relevant field
Expertise in HIV/AIDS; tuberculosis; family planning; reproductive health; and maternal, neonatal, and child health preferred
Experience interacting with government agencies, national counterparts, and international donor agencies
Strong interpersonal, writing, and oral presentation skills
Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
Fluency in English required
