Job title: Carpenter
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain carpentry workshop and machinery
• Make office furniture and construction repairs at institute
• Train clients in carpentry
• Disseminate timber use technologies to clients
• Prepare wood specimens for shows and laboratory tests
• Design handicraft from none wood forest products

Minimum Qualifications:
• Masters crafts certificate
• Advanced certificate in carpentry and joinery
• Experience and knowledge of working with heavy duty carpentry machines
• Specific knowledge in joinery and modern wood working finishes
• Able to interpret designs and drawings
• Minimum of 3 years experience from a busy workshop
