Job Title: Technicians
Salary scale: UR6

General Tasks and Responsibilities
• Offer technical services and support to assist scientists in running and maintaining research activities
• Assist scientists in formulation of experiment proposals, designs and layouts
• Assist scientists in collection of data
• Assist scientist in analysis of data
• Participate in technology dissemination - demonstrations, public workshops, exhibitions
• Maintain field and laboratory equipment
• Training client in relevant technologies

Minimum Qualifications
• At least a Diploma in Forestry, Chemistry/Biology/Computing or equivalent, BSc Forestry, Degree in Laboratory Science Technology and added advantages
• At least 3 years experience in technical research support

Age limit: 25 -35 years
