Position: M and E officer - Program Evaluations
Reports to: Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor
Job summary:
To lead planning, coordination and implementation of program evaluation activities in MJAP.
Key duties: Identify areas for evaluation; Developing periodic monitoring and evaluation plans and budgets; implement evaluation activities; Build capacity for program staff to carry out program evaluations; ensuring utilization of information from evaluations for program improvement Prepare periodic reports.
Job requirements:
Degree in Statistics, Computer Science or any other relevant discipline plus training in Program Monitoring and Evaluation. A masters' degree in a related field is an added advantage. Must be comfortable working with database design, MS Access, Excel, Epi-info, SPSS and STATA. 2 years in program monitoring, and Evaluation, preferably in an HIV/AIDS Program. Knowledgeable in principles of program Monitoring and Evaluation; Impact assessment techniques; Data management and analysis; general knowledge on HIV/AIDS; Ethics related to data management, monitoring and evaluation
