Job Title: Officer – Civil Engineer (01 Vacancy)

Reports to: Supervisor – Estates And Utilities Job Role: To inspect buildings, configurations, prepare Bills of Quantities and supervise contracted works in line with ICTU, UCC, IEE Regulations and Administrative Guidelines.
Person Specifications:
(a) Qualifications
A Bachelor’s (Honour’s) degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Additional qualifications in the relevant field will be an added advantage. Membership of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers
(b) Experience, Knowledge and Character
At least three years’ experience in supervision of construction projects or management of properties. Experience in and/or knowledge of procurement of Civil works is desirable Knowledge of preparation of Bills of Quantities, drawings/plans and terms of reference Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the Engineering profession in Uganda. Excellent Interpersonal skills. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving ability. High level of integrity
