Job Description:

Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff. • Provide advice and assistance to supervisors on staff recruitment • Prepare reports at the end of the selection process and Conduct reference checks on possible candidates. • Track probation reports for all new staff to ensure that they are completed and staff are confirmed as appropriate • Monitor the submission of performance objectives for all staff and ensure that copies of their objectives are on their files • Liaise with managers to develop performance discussion schedules and track their implementation • Monitor the implementation of talent management actions for staff in line with the recommendations • Develop / Implement Human Resources Information Management and reporting processes to ensure the efficiency of HR Support services • Develop and maintain databases to track employee information in the various areas of recruitment, performance management and talent management • Conduct periodic reviews of staff files to ensure that they are up to date and that all the necessary documents are on file • Administer exit interviews and identify any areas that may be contributing to staff attrition and recommend changes as appropriate.

Required skills

University degree in Human Resources, Business or related field • Post graduate qualifications in HR will be an added advantage • Minimum 2 years experience in HR • Strong Knowledge of modern recruitment methods • Excellent knowledge of local labour laws. • Experience in FMCG or mobile phone companies • Accustomed to working in fast moving and changing environments and to deadlines. • Experience and working with selection and assessment tools and methods. • High level of confidentiality and common sense regarding employee information, plus good judgement in unforeseen emergencies • Able to operate in a performance driven organization • Self motivated • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent communications skills, both orally and in writing • Business awareness
